Prairie Barn

This abandoned barn is on the Metcalf wildlife Preserve. All buildings located here are abandoned as there are no permanent housing lots allowed. All homesites were bought by the wildlife foundation. Most were taken apart or burned. Some still stand, like this typical western prairie style barn. Livestock , hay, other feed and machinery were all kept in this very large barn. Now it holds only a storied past as someone's ranch.
