Canvas

My sister is a painter and this sky reminded me of a canvas she could be working on...

Today was a strange day. There is a wildfire near Estacada, OR that now surpasses 2300 acres. The 36 Pit Fire is 60 miles from where I live, but it's causing our skies to be filled with smoke, and also creating some fantastic colors. Maybe it was just me, but the whole day seemed hazy and surreal for some reason. Like there's something destructive going on, and I know what it is, but I can't see it and I can't do a darn thing about it.
