surprise moon shot

Driving north on I-5 from a high school football game, I watched the moon rise over the horizon. It was a beautiful orange, but I wasn't thinking of taking a picture. But when we made a pit stop, I could barely see the moon past the Burger King and a service station; I put on my longest lens and attempted to focus on the moon.
When I downloaded the photo, I was surprised to see this exciting moon shot with a tree in the foreground. I loved it.
Always nice to be pleasantly surprised!
