Up it goes at last

Big day today, husband had final post op check for one hip and booked in for the other one, and the house was finally lifted!

Very exciting to see the trucks there as we drove past on our way to the hospital. We were lucky as the boss was there on the way back and he escorted us in to see what was happening. So D came in on his crutches - very off road! This is the back of the house, the red part is the kitchen.

So now they've got 8 weeks to get the new foundation done and get the house back down.

What we don't need is another big quake in the next 8 weeks - fingers crossed.
