The third week of school closures due to teachers' strike action started with yet another warm and sunny day. Our home school this morning was run by daughter A while I worked a little and run errands. She had them do math, some art/drawing tasks outside, writing and practice their music assignments. I loved to see how the all four gathered around the table together to do their math stuff, and made lunch and ate together while I was away. I should stay out of the way more often.

The creek was nice and cool in the afternoon warmth. We took time to explore, found and studied caterpillars and followed the creek up by hopping along the rocks, something you can only do after a long dry spell. She wasn't totally soaked wet when we got back home. Her hat was dry.
