The "Wombat Trakka"

In 1983 I met a wonderful guy called Dave Berry. Way back then, Dave was creating waves with his innovative and exciting Campervans. I was fortunate enough to enjoy the wonders of a "Trakka Van" for many years and in 1996 I had the joy once again of taking delivery of a custom made "Trakka" in which I used to take tourists to the Blue Mountains and other wonderful NSW tourist attractions.

Well today history has repeated itself and CCN and I have just driven home in the most wonderful "Trakka" Campervan. We're calling it the "Wombat Trakka" and this fantastic vehicle is going to give us the freedom and opportunity to explore this extraordinary country of ours. It was a very exciting and needless to say a very emotional experience for all of us and I know that Dave and his daughter Alex and his team were swept up in the excitement. We're now known as "Three Time Trakka Owners" and the Moet and Chandon went down a treat as we all celebrated delivery day.

Well my fellow Blippers, all I can say is.......watch out for many images of this great country of ours. We're going to explore as much as we can and we're going to love sharing it with you. Just as we wanted to share our excitement today. We ordered the van five months ago, so today was very, very special.
