Hong Kong Island

Typhoon Kalmaegi certainly kept us awake last night. Howling winds, rain beating against the window and just various 'noises' made for a disturbed nights sleep. We just hoped everyone was safe and dry . Can't even begin to imagine what people are going through in India and Pakistan with all those floods. We had just a night of it.

T8 was hoisted from 10:30 last night till 11:30am today which meant no school, work, business! Needless to say the boys were thrilled. Martin did head out to work as soon as the ferries resumed business.

Thankfully not too much damage in DB that I could see but here's a beautiful pic of Hong Kong from the 26th floor of The Peninsula. Some clouds still hanging around from the typhoon. Picture contributed by the amazing Martin!!! He thought it'd make a good blip :)
