Wee Bridge

This is the latest on the wee bridge. The boys have been working underneath digging out the silt build up from many years. Bringing our huge chunks of stonework abandoned from years back. Then cleaning and re-pointing the stone. Well that is what I think they have been doing.

The lad that chats to me told me there were three different spans and when everyone was gone I went down to have a lookie and sure enough you could clearly see three different spans due to separate widening of the bridge over the years. Interesting stuff.
