One O'clock Gun, Edinburgh Castle

Another day of touristy things, this time to visit Edinburgh Castle. Although I've passed this a thousand times I've never been beyond the Esplanade to see what lies beyond there.
Today was the day to go through the gates and see what's there. That was, after the 30 minutes queuing for a ticket!
Nothing prepares you really for the number of people that visit this attraction in one day. There were hundreds, if not thousands of people visiting today. A random tuesday in a bit of dreary Tuesday in September.
