Let there be light!!

Our new street lamp..............looks like a baseball cap on a stick insect to me!

It was replaced yesterday but it gives out an amazing amount of light which is not what any of us want as it is just too much!!

We are now living in fear that the one which which the hay lorry took out some weeks ago might be replaced with another baseball cap in which case it will be time to do some judicious "plinking" with the air rifle when no one is looking!

Anarchy might reign............!

PS It is now 10.20pm - it is very dark outside. The new light is not working. So much for the modern technology and super efficient bulbs!!
