Jam on your scones?

I made some greengage jam yesterday, not homegrown fruit but bought from the market.

Today I made a batch of scones to take to a small afternoon garden soiree and these are the ones left over, (a lovely time was had by all). The two seem to fit together for a blip!

This morning I did some gardening and disturbed a very handsome frog - pale green with dark green spots. It was attractive enough to warrant being a prince from fairy tales, I didn't try kissing it to see if a handsome prince appeared though!
