Food fight?

Returned to the thistle patch tonight, which was all nicely dried out after yesterday, to find many many spiders all shapes and sizes. This pair caught my eye as they appeared to be having a rather heated altercation over a little wrapped ready meal. I have no wisdom into spider behaviour so perhaps it was a loving embrace before dinner. Whatever it was I wish they had done it in slow motion, it would have made blipping in focus a little easier.
