Mrs T strides out!

Today we went on one of our favorite walks from Cross Gate above Burrator Reservoir following the Devonport Leat through the forest up onto the open moor.

On the way through Moretonhampstead we picked up fresh baguettes filled with ham, cheese and salad and took flasks of coffee and fruit and had lunch at the Aqueduct before retracing out walk back to the car. The sun was shining and a nice breeze stopped it from being too hot. We then drove around to the near the dam where as usual there was an ice cream van serving "proper" Cornish ice creams then back to our Dartmoor base to bacon & eggs for dinner,
