Ants nest

We went for a walk along a track in the woods behind Braemar. D wasn't up for a walk claiming he was too tired so A and I were on alert for the coolest things to look at. Fungi didn't cut it but A spotted this ant mound, which both boys were very intrigued by. Then we spotted quite a few more. D was convinced by me that the track was good for mountain biking and was then running along pretending to ride his bike. Ah the inconsistency/contrary nature of my 4 yr old!
We then went for a very nice bit of cheesecake at The Bothy cafe.
