This used to be a petrol station, in the days when petrol stations gave out only petrol.  Now when you get in the petrol queue, the person in front of you gets cigarettes, lighter, newspaper, crisps, chewing gum, Coke, chocolate, sandwich, bread, butter , sugar, jam, marmalade, cheese, an apple, an orange, a pear, a banana, cornflakes, rice crispies, o and I forgot petrol. You are waiting a half an hour to give in your fiver.

And then, after all that, their card is not accepted.
