Light fantastic

Down in Essex and since our regular hotel has a wedding function on tonight (who gets married on a Tuesday evening?!?!) we are staying in a nearby hotel which seems to be poised on the highest spot in Essex with glorious views across the county.

After a very foggy morning, the sun eventually burned through the clouds and produced a very beautiful evening light as the sun set. I initially re-took this picture as the focus would not shift to the beautiful building itself but I actually prefer this shot. Hope you agree ...
