My Little Teddy

Well, it's been another good day for me. I saw the gp first thing and updated her as to my moods etc. and thanked her for her recent support. Then got on with some useful though not too taxing work until lunch when I left and met C and Teddy outside Costa, Brackley for a welcome chill in the sun and catch up. I also had a brief chat to B on the phone before C arrived as well as speaking to Barratt Homes about the issues with the pipes and boiler at the rental house.

We popped into Waitrose and I got to play auntie ferrying Teddy around in the buggy while C shopped. We also had an hour with P and H at theirs for a quick cuppa and I experienced Teddy's newfound crawling skills, forwards now and using both knees. He's also great at pulling himself up to standing and sitting back down again.

Once we got back to C's we spent another good while playing and I took this blip. While C prepped tea, I took him out to the back garden and sat him on the five bar gate and we chatted happily to the alpacas, sheep, hens, geese, squirrels and cows in the neighbouring field - what a menagerie! Teddy was an absolute delight as ever, chatting away in his own language and giggling constantly. I gave him his pudding after his tea too and he just spent the whole time laughing with me, most endearing. It made me laugh when he drank his orange juice and the sourness made his face screw up!

I enjoyed a lovely chicken dinner with C and S and then took my leave, arriving back to a sombre household with some footie on the box.
