Normal service has been resumed

The cats are glad to have us home.

An easy flight back from Krakow, although the slight chance of a diversion because of a group of rowdy, drunken English passengers. Why we don't ban alcohol from both flights and airports I don't know (well I do - it's a money maker). They were forty going on fourteen years old and were well into the lager when we got to flight departures at 8.30am.

By contrast I shall remember our Polish city break for the culture of the place, the politeness of its people, the beauty of its buildings and history, and the excellent food.

The one glitch in the day was that TSM left her iPad air at Gatwick (in the car parking office) and had to drive back to get it (an hour and a half 'round trip).

Not back at work until Monday. Small matter of my birthday on Friday which will be overshadowed by the outcome of the Scottish debacle - sorry, democratic process - which should be known by then...
