Mother Goose Meets Katy Perry

Like the rest of us in the Letts household, Mia loves to read. Her bookshelves (yes, that is plural) are overflowing. The bedtime routine includes unburying her bed from the previous night's reading materials. I walked into her room today to find her kickin' back reading her collection of Mother Goose stories and listening to Katy Perry. I felt a lump in my throat as I saw my life fast forward quickly to her teen years. Then I thought, I can only hope that this is how she spends her free time in her teen years.
