Packaging the Houblons

I harvested the fuggles before the weekend and they have been drying in the improvised oast house. (A multi layered mesh drying bag with a fan blowing over them). This is the process of compressing the dried hops and wrapping them in foil trying to exclude as much air as possible, the into a plastic bag and into the cold storage. This year about 250g of dried weight off one plant with a lot more to come from the goldings.

Unfortunately it does look like a scene from breaking bad.
