The Mountain

I almost never upload two at once, but here goes - as we just got home from our quick trip up to Mt Rainier to celebrate my birthday - and I took this one early this morning to say hello to "her" - and my mother as I know her spirit rests up there. Mom was a Mt Rainier gal, hiked and skied way high on the slopes in the 40's - raised all of us "kids" to believe there really was only one mountain in the world. So I do like to pay homage on my birthday. Yesterday's blip records a sweet surprise from my dear husband presented on the eve.
