Busy day today. I was puzzled about why some people suggest that Labour would have no chance in rUK if Scotland was to become independent. I don't think that is true. I had a look at the results of the last few general elections: In all cases the Scottish vote did not influence the majority with the exception of the last general election in 2010 where the Tories would have an outright majority without Scotland rather than having to be in coalition with the Lib Dems.
