BUMBLEBEE

Another bumblebee – have to blip them while they're available.

However….We saw the most amazing thing today: A little chipmunk – maybe 4 inches long, scurried onto the deck to steal some peanuts when I tossed a few out for the squirrels. He pushed a whole peanut (IN THE SHELL, about 2 inches long) into his left cheek, then he pushed another whole peanut into his right cheek, then he scooped up a third whole peanut and pushed it into his mouth before running off. His cheeks stuck out like they were about to explode! He looked so funny from the front and from the back. I will try to figure out a way to get a picture of this – and hope he does it again when I have a camera handy - but chipmunks dash away at the tiniest noise so it will probably be impossible. (Later: CHECK OUT Debbi Bifulco's blip showing a chippie doing exactly this - stuffing whole peanuts into its cheeks! I'm so impressed that she was able to capture it! I saw her blip the next day.)
