A Red Umbrella

Today has been a day of strong cold winds, rain and sunshine. I went to the doctor again this morning and was put on more antibiotics and if that doesn't clear this bug up in two weeks time, he is going to refer me to a ear and throat specialist. So let hope they work and clear this all up for good!

This is one of my tulips in my garden and I had to time it take the shot between blasts of cold wind. I noticed most of the tulips are coming out now but this wind isn't good for them. We are to get some really bad weather over the weekend with hail and rain and snow on the hills.

One of my Flickr friends sent me this video link of a fly over of Christchurch. There is a six-part series which airs at 11.30am on TV1 on Sunday. The fly over Christchurch is interesting and you may be able to see some of the things I have blipped about over the year.
