Kayaking around the southern edge of Ha Long Bay

With only fishermen for company, we explored the ocean, weaving in and out of tiny karst islands. With an imminent storm on the way, we got a bit of a shock when we heard a loud explosion. On closer inspection of a nearby fisherman, we think he was dynamite fishing. We soon got out of his way.
