Budapest Opera House

Just a quick blip by phone camera as photos not strictly allowed in the beautiful Budapest Opera House.

I caught an evening performance of the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, so stirring and surprising that I had tears in my eyes through most of it.

The program included Gershwin, 'An American in Paris', and the truly gorgeous 'Masquerade Waltz' by Khatcheturian. All very lively, with a proms style audience whistling and cheering.
