I Should Be So Lucky

This is Dave Luckett, also known as Lucky, partly as a result of his surname (probably most likely) but also as a result of some near misses in his working life.

We (as a company) have worked with Dave for as long as I have been here (nearly 7 years), working as Chief Mechanic for a team that was running one of our cars in America, and more recently he has been back in the UK working for us on some projects at our workshop.

Dave has had a long career as a mechanic in the highest levels of motorsport, when I took his picture we were talking about his time in F1 in the 1970's with characters like James Hunt. Dave has also working in Indycar, including the Indy 500, and World Endurance Sportscars in the American Le Mans Series. Dave has many stories to tell!
