Married life

What a lovely day.

Waiheke island is beautiful and the weather held for us to enjoy a nice cycle - something we just couldn't have done with a 3yr old in tow, so it really felt freeing.

We stopped for the occasional selfie and had a great lunch at the Wai cafe feeling cosy inside while the heavens opened up.

After lunch it was back to our "Breakfast on the beach" (highly recommend) haven for a hot spa and our books.

We go home tomorrow, but that's ok since we miss our little one a lot. It's a fine balance between time away and just wanting to be back together again.
