The Monster

Monday morning started with a great deal of noise from a variety of heavy machinery!
The main road through the village was scraped and made ready for new tarmac, and the road was closed, causing much panic in the community as people imagined themselves marooned in their houses for a week!
Of course, access was allowed, but those cars coming through had to drive very slowly over the bumps, ramps and holes!
