Derick the chef

all anyone can talk about today is the "vote" tomorrow for Scottish Independence. Even in the kitchens when I was photographing the chef I could hear people around about me talking about what would happen depending on which way it goes - a lot of nervous laughter about food suppliers threatening that prices would go up in the event of a yes vote - one of the kitchen staff has an allotment and offered to start supplying the fresh veg if he could get a steady supply of manure!! 8-)
