BETTER THAN A DAHLIA

In the search for a blipfoto I often call in at familiar spots and today I was looking for something at the Bowling club, perhaps a flower since I know they make bonnie pictures and often attract favourable comments from those who view my submissions.
However I was able to have a chat with an old friend, Archie, with whom I have enjoyed many happy years in competition and co-operation on the bowling green. He's not a bad bowler and would say of me with a twinkle in his eye, 'Neither are you pal when you concentrate!" We are old codgers in the club now and insist that -things ain't what they used to be! But who listens to us?
