Day 35: Not In Kansas Anymore

You know you're in Asia when traffic flows in every which way, as people abandon all road rules and all you hear is honking. It was like a rude awakening after the well-mannered streets of Melbourne.

For our one night in Bangkok we took it easy, just walking around town and taking in the sights of multi-colored tuk-tuks and street vendors peddling food or trinkets. We found a safe and clean restaurant in a hotel, then got a cheap massage to ease our weary legs.

Tomorrow we fly to Phuket. This last minute change of plans has us hopping all over creation, not necessarily in the most logical or cost-efficient manner, but at this point I'm just along for the ride. Onward, tally ho!
