St Mary Axe

There's lots of new buildings going up in the City, each beginning to dwarf the Gherkin. It remains my favourite though.

My meeting on the 34th floor today highlighted the eccentricity of the building.

The useable floor area was barely viable, but the views from the meeting rooms set to the perimeter were just great. Each room is named after the key view it offers. We were in 'Shard'.

The poppy field slowly filling the moat to the Tower of London could also be seen. I must visit.....
