Kamloops to Vancouver

Day 6 of our holiday was our second day on the Rocky Mountaineer as we headed for Vancouver and our cruise ship MS Zuiderdam.

There are two train tracks through the Rockies ~ Canadian Pacific and Canadian National. Originally competitors but now working together, with one used for westbound trains and the other for eastbound trains. The double-stack container freight trains can reach 4.2 km in length (well over two miles).
