The turning year

In spite of the gorgeous weather we have enjoyed, the warm days and the non-frosty nights, autumn is still determined to make an appearance. the leaves are beginning to change and here they had turned a lovely shade of red on just one side of the tree, It was very lovely to stand in the sun and look up to these beautiful colours, backed by the blue sky and almost decorative clouds. We do live in a nice place!
Summer has been really marvellous but maybe it's time to look forward to the next installment of the yearly round.
