Happy Valen-times!

Worst. Cake. Ever.

Red velvet cake that I attempted for Valentine's day - followed a Waldorf-Astoria recipe - I must have done something wrong because this cake is wrong from start to finish. Dry. Icing tastes like lard. Iced the cake incorrectly (never made a cake before so I have that excuse). Will have to find a different recipe if I ever make this cake again.

I think I will leave this for Sarah to do next time - I'm definitely not a baker.
