On the Road from Pau to Laruns

Second of two back-blips….

A long but successful meeting that finished just after 6pm, earlier enough to head for Laruns in the Pyrenees to try and catch the fading light. We hadn't planned it too well as we were on the shadow side and didn't have enough time to get to the top. I took a few shots around Laruns and headed back to our hotel in Pau only to stumble across this pretty little lake with just enough light left to get a reasonable capture.

We didn't get back until well gone 9 o'clock, found a restaurant and sat outside as it was a pleasantly warm evening. It was dry too until a thunderstorm let loose just after 10! Fortunately we were under a canopy, while others ran for cover. We were in shirtsleeves and pretty wet by the time we'd walked back to the hotel about half-a-mile 750 metres away. Enjoyed it though.
