Mown

The view from the lawn - which I eventually got around to mowing.

It was a bit long - to the net effect that one length meant that the mower needed emptying. Certain sections have been left artistically un-mown - for wildlife you understand.

Waste recyling here is rubbish (if you'll excuse the pun) compared with what we're used to. It's all very 80's with black bin bags and minimal dry recyling (in more bin bags; excuse me but doesn't that rather defeat the point?). It's years since I had to take glass to a bottle bank.

What a ... errm... waste.
