Tumbled!

A gemstone, possibly a form of agate. I used to play around with this in my youth. I made a set up to tumble them with, a continuous rated motor which ran for 6 weeks on the trot, 24 hours a day, with a carborundum powder rotating the stones inside the plastic drum...some nice effects after using a polishing agent for a couple of days on them afterwards.
