New daps

If you're a sportster like me, you'll know the feeling of new trainers, or daps as we used to call then when we were young. I remember my first pair of trainers like it was yesterday, they were black Adidas Samba. I wore them with luminous socks (forgive me, it was the early 80s). Since then I've been a Nike girl and always wear white. Has to be white.

Call it a mid life crisis, but I went for these bobby dazzlers at the weekend. It's fair to say, they provoked a fair few comments today at work.

Honestly, they looked less bright when I purchased them online! Ah well, they're here to stay now.
