The Pepperpot
This octagonal building was a two storey summerhouse in the grounds of Akay House on the outskirts of Sedbergh. It was possibly used as a dining room too. When the house was vacated the structure fell derelict. Now only the stone walls of the ground floor remain. Its name 'The Pepperpot' is reference to its shape.
