Boy in boots

Nathaniel's obsession with boots continues. With his new wellies at nursery and his home wellies in the garage he resorted to wearing Andy's cowboy boots which he put on himself. Looked so funny with just his tshirt (as he spilt water over his trousers). He's been such a cutie pie today, singing me "twinkle twinkle" from start to finish and laughing "mummy you've got zebras on your neck" (scarf). Then saying "it's a new sling for Bayo" (no, just a voluminous scarf!) "oh you got chilly neck mummy?" (No it's just a fashion accessory...oh nevermind Nathaniel you're right it is funny I have zebras on my neck).
We took a drive the long way to nursery through he country lanes "no chickens today mummy....they're on holidays".
Half day for Bay so he accompanied me to collect an eBay bargain garage for Nathaniel, then to Vickys to drop of back support belts, then onto Bex's for a very chilled out playdate. Really lovely to catch up properly and Bex kindly watched bay whilst I sorted out a work phone call too. Then home for tea. Nathaniel wanted Mummy this evening at bed time (please don't let this be the start of an illness!) and Bay continues to cluster feed...my plan for an early night failed again!
