Everyone in Scotland has a Vote

I'm not sure if this gentleman and his parrot arrived in Cullen on horseback or bicycle in order to vote this morning at the polling station next door, but he seems pleased with where he put his cross.

With His Lordship and I split on our vote, nevertheless we bought a bottle of bubbly to toast the verdict- this is a win win situation as far as the imbibing goes.

Later we visited the grounds of Cullen House and then Findlater Castle, a ruin far down from the path on a seemingly impregnable rocky promontory dating back to 1499.
Fortunately HL didn't suggest we descended to inspect it at closer quarters.

The shop assistant who volunteered to us that the town was busy today, was met with a slight silence on our part, and we had to divulge that we came from Edinburgh and Cullen seemed so quiet and peaceful in comparison.
It appears to be an overwhelmingly YES town, with the rival camp nowhere in evidence.
