Autumn scene
Mellow and misty as the afternoon became warm and muggy. We had overcast skies until lunchtime, but the beauty of a September day came through after a while. (This was taken on a very short stroll along the side of Pipe Hill Heathland)
It's a very important day for the UK. Nothing will ever be the same again, whatever the outcome of the referendum. So much has been fractured; so much has come out into the open. I can't help feeling that there did not need to be so much aggression as the blank canvas emerges and we will see the picture of a new Scotland (Scandinavian strongly social, oil rich elite - or whatever).
In a troubled world, we need peace and reconciliation.
