EN ROUTE to LAMAR VALLEY
Yellowstone

DEAD INDIAN SUMMIT
A sign advised against driving a unit over 40 ft.
OK. When in doubt believe the warning. Turned out to be 45 miles of steep winding road. From the summit down is where it gets really inteeesting.

NMBR-1 drives the RV. I drive the Honda with Sundance riding shotgun. We open the sun roof and rock to Motown. Fun-fun.
This route did delay our arrival at the Northeast entrance- and all campgrounds-full. Well, except one 75 miles away.

Ranger told us about Lulu Pass in the Gallatin forest. Here you can camp-where-you-want. Just before dark we found a wide spot in the road. I snapped this pic of the most scenic view around us.
