Thoughts in the Car Park
I was going to blip another spider today. The spiderlings from earlier in the year are now getting to a decent size and fending for themselves very well. I expect quite a few have gone as bird fodder during the past few months and, of course, these might not be the same ones at all, although I like to think they might be.
Anyway, I was in town this afternoon persuading my son he did need a few new clothes for returning to uni and walked back to my car through this car park. I have clearly not been there for some time as i was stopped in my tracks by this garden which was right in the middle as a remembrance to WW1; I was rather surprised so grabbed the camera and took a few shots. It seems appropriate for thoughtful Thursday and the closing stages of the August (yes, I know it's September) and 1001 blips challenge.
Today is also the referendum in Scotland and, whilst I have my own opinion on what the result should be, I am also concerned that the end result, either way, does not create more difficulties, problems and divisiveness than there is already. The fall-out from this will start tomorrow.
