the diminutive Downy

We have two woodpeckers in our area, the Hairy and Downy.
They look quite similar to each other except for overall size and length of bill.
The Downy is the smaller of the two, therefore the "diminutive" one. The Hairy is the "honking big one." At least that's how I remember who's who!
This male Downy had just grabbed a bite to eat from our feeder and was resting in our nearby peach tree. I think it is rare to see a resting woodpecker!
