sugar coated feelings

Sometimes I wonder if my children have ever known me without a camera in my hand. I see in pictures. Even my thoughts are a wash of colour - snapshots held together by feelings. Murron spied me with my camera and said 'I know, I know. You're going to paint with light again.' Ahhh most definitely her mother's child :)

Rowan (my little author in the making) made me smile when she sighed contentedly and said 'There's nothing better than a blank page waiting for me to write on it!'
