Pointing underway ...

... and under cover for the night, ready for cutting back and brushing in the morning. That was Sean's day. Mine was fixing the architrave strip which I sculpted the other day to fill the awkward gap where the render used to be around the front door, and more painting, painting, painting! Hope we avoid forecast storms and the weather is dry enough tomorrow to get white undercoat on to that horrible greenish primer!

I have decided to make a new front door, and use the existing front door, slightly adapted, to replace the back door which is Category Three'd!

Anybody got any ideas how to clean paint off the mains cable, which is now very tatty with multiple layers of old flaky paint?
