Indian summer

Work was rather dull today so much so that it was actually improved somewhat by some training by video link! I then had a quick lunch in Costa (Oakgrove), did some shopping for my birthday cake ingredients and then attended a nice ladies charity tea party in Woburn, which was enjoyable and I won a three month pass to my local pool - bonus.

I've made the dairy free chocolate sponge for my sister and my joint birthday cake and will ice it on Saturday morning.

L is cooking a steak and ale pie for dinner and I'll have a quiet night in front of the telly I think.

And.... my tomatoes are still fruiting thanks to the lovely warm weather, which reached 24C today!
